Installation and Included Services
- All installations through the payment plan include taxes plus the removal and disposal of the old water heater.
Venting and electrical work are an additional charge unless otherwise specified.
Additional Costs and Code Compliance
- The installing Gas Advantage Dealer is responsible for meeting all local code requirements.
- The dealer will identify any additional needs and provide you with an estimate for approval before work begins.
- The dealer may bill you directly for extraordinary expenses or compliance needs. These can include:
- Larger capacity water heater
- Permitting, stand, or pan
- Excess water or gas lines
- Drain line, relief valve, and line
- Gas shut-off valve, flex connector, expansion tanks
- Additional venting and electrical work
Rebate Eligibility
Customers who choose to participate in the payment plan are not eligible for a cash-back energy conservation rebate. The rebate allowance is used to offset the upfront cost for purchase of the water heater.

The installing Gas Advantage Dealer will also charge any extraordinary expenses to you. The dealer must meet all local code requirements and may bill compliance or additional installation needs directly to you.
