Natural gas makes takes the chore out of doing laundry because clothes dry nearly twice as fast, saving you time, energy and money. To get you started with replacing or upgrading your current dryer, we offer several rebate options designed to help offset the cost of purchase and installation.

To qualify for our Clothes Drying Rebates, you must be an active Peoples Gas customer or a landlord of a rental property with Peoples Gas service. Your qualifying appliance must be a new natural gas appliance.

Please note: The following will not qualify for a rebate:

  • Used or refurbished appliances
  • Appliances purchased from Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, Salvation Army, eBay or any other thrift stores

Click on one of the buttons below to begin your rebate application. Be sure to have electronic copies of your sales invoice(s) and receipt(s) ready to upload. Invoices and receipts for purchase and installation must be marked "Paid in Full" or display a "0" balance. To avoid any inconvenience, please save your application at the bottom of the electronic application. The application will be saved for a maximum of 10 days.

Check the status of a rebate

Choose one of the following to check status of an existing rebate application. 

After selecting, simply enter the confirmation number you received when you initially submitted your application. This will allow you to check the status and make any changes if needed.

If the application status shows closed, your rebate was approved. Please allow up to 28 business days to receive your check.

If the application status shows on hold, you should have received an email with additional details.
