Nocatee Summer Fun Fest and Home Tour takes place this weekend
TECO Peoples Gas and Nocatee homebuilders to host family-oriented event
TAMPA, June 1, 2011
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, TECO Peoples Gas and the natural gas homebuilders of Nocatee are sponsoring a free Summer Fun Fest and Home Tour.
Guests will complete a scavenger hunt through model homes with natural gas appliances. Completing the scavenger hunt will get them free admission to the Fun Fest, featuring food and fun for the entire family.
A natural gas vehicle (NGV) and an appliance that lets you refuel at home will be on display at one of the showcase homes. This is an opportunity to “kick the tires” on an alternative fuel vehicle and learn more about refueling an NGV at home.
Festival-goers also can enter to win a natural gas grill valued at more than $1,200, and other prizes.
Enter the Nocatee community from the Nocatee Parkway. Start at the welcome tent in front of the Publix parking lot at the Town Center to pick up a scavenger hunt guide and map. The tent is located at 120 Marketside Ave., Ponte Vedra, Fla. 32081.
Along with hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and prizes, the Summer Fun Fest includes free carnival games, bounce houses, balloons, face painting and a live remote with local radio station 96.1 WEJZ.
